Day 1 – The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa / BYRON BAY

Arrive Gold Coast or Brisbane Airport, collect your hire car from the Thrifty rental desk and make your way to Byron Bay. Experience an intriguing blend of old and new, the North Coast of New South Wales is where the world’s largest expanse of subtropical rainforest meets mountains forged from ancient volcanoes. Enjoy a sparkling coastline of endless beaches offering surfing, whale-watching, frolicking dolphins and flocks of seabirds and get a feel for your environment, before arriving at the luxurious Byron at Byron.

Set within a stunning 45 acre lush rainforest, The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa is designed to stir the senses. Only five minutes south of the Byron Bay township and moments from Tallow Beach and the Byron Bay Golf Club, the resort offers a beautiful Byron Bay experience. Facilities include tennis court, 25m infinity pool, fully equipped gymnasium, poolside sauna and luxurious day spa.

Contemporary designed one bedroom suites offer kitchen, L-shaped daybed, plasma TV, DVD, California King Bed, with its bi-fold doors opening onto six metre wide verandahs, overlooking the spectacular rainforest canopy.

Day 2 &3 – The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa / BYRON BAY

Following breakfast at the Resort, enjoy a day of leisure. Perhaps set out and continue to explore this truly spectacular region at your leisure or indulge in the facilities of the Resort.

The Byron Spa offers six luxurious treatment rooms, relaxation area, Vichy shower, Lithos hot stone massage, body wraps, serenity facials, relaxing music, herbal teas, hydrotherapy treatments and specialised spa therapies. Included in your package is a 2 hour ‘Isle of Delight’ spa experience combining a full-body Lithos stone massage with a complete facial treatment in The Byron Spa & Wellness Centre including use of relaxation room spa and steam, book this in to enjoy during your stay and completely unwind in your surrounds.

The resort also offers a 25metre infinity pool, sauna, tennis court, gymnasium and more for those that feel like being active, or you can also arrange through the resort surfing lessons, ocean kayaking, mountain bike tours, whale watching tours (seasonal) and more.

In the evening, return to The Byron and perhaps enjoy the restaurant on-site, which truly does set a new standard in contemporary alfresco dining in Byron Bay. With soaring celings, bi-fold doors opening out to a wide terrace overlooking lush lawns and picturesque rainforest, The Restaurant at The Byron is a must do Byron experience and offers the freshest local produce and imaginative dishes. Day 4 – Burrawang West Station / CENTRAL NSW

your departing flight to Sydney (return rental car to the airport). In Sydney transfer to your Regional Express flight to Parkes (flights own arrangements). Upon arrival into Parkes you will be met and driven to Burrawang West Station.

Day 5 &6 – Burrawang West Station / CENTRAL NSW

The next two days are at your leisure. Indulge in some or all of the Station’s activities - this environment is not only breathtaking, but it is one which inspires relaxation, serenity and rejuvenation. The immense sky sits low on the horizon and provides an ever-changing panorama of shifting moods and often-spectacular sunsets.

If you get a chance, roar out on a four-wheel-drive motorbike with Bill or jump in the ute. At Burrawang, nothing is too much trouble. If you want to be left alone to just ponder the skies or roam around, that's fine too. Visitors can select the menus, the eating times and the style of catering. Finish off the day by relaxing in the clubhouse with a couple of quiet drinks!

Day 7 – Burrawang West Station/Sydney / CENTRAL NSW/SYDNEY

This morning you bid your farewell to Burrawang West Station, leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, ready for your flight back to Sydney. From Burrawang you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Sydney with Regional Express.
