Kakadu & Arnhemland
The landscapes of Kakadu and Arnhemland are diverse and set the scene for outback adventure travel, aboriginal culture and nature activities.
Kakadu National Park is the largest national park in Australia. It contains one of the highest concentrated areas of aboriginal rock art sites in the world; the most famous examples are at Nourlangie Rock and Ubirr. Nature and wildlife abound in this area, which is known for its level of biodiversity.
In both Kakadu and Arnhemland you can learn about and view the many world-famous rock art galleries on a guided tour or through the comprehensive interpretative signage at many art sites with a private guide from Lord's Safaris. Aside from sharing their art, Aboriginal guides enjoy teaching you about the daily aspects of their culture on a park tour. Some tours explore the spectacular bush environment, searching for traditional foods and medicines while others cruise rivers and billabongs.
