Lying in 10,000 acres of rich pastureland, this grand country estate includes the quintessential Australian homestead situated on a working cattle station, the perfect setting for a genuine bush holiday experience.

Accommodation

At Burrawang West Station, you will stay in luxury and comfort. Accommodation is provided in individual colonial-style cottages charmingly known as the Barn, Woolshed, Jackaroo Cottage and Jillaroo Cottage. With sweeping views overlooking the property, each cottage features modern amenities such as TV, VCR, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones, air-conditioning, fireplace, spacious living and dining areas.

All guestrooms at Burrawang West Station are lavishly appointed with modern bathrooms, including a classic claw-foot bath, and French doors that open out to a deep verandah ? the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The rooms are furnished with class and distinction, featuring contemporary furniture, fine colonial antiques and modern artworks. And with just 12 guestrooms at the retreat, absolute privacy is assured.

Activities

Complimentary activities at Burrawang West Station inlcude:

Wildlife spotting for kangaroos, wallabies, emus, goanna lizards and much more.

Bird spotting for galas, cockatoos, kookaburras, parrots and eagles by canoe along the Yarrabandai billabong.

A station tour learning about a working property, adults can perhaps explore by 4 wheel motorbikes.

Other facilities inlcude a sauna, a magnificent 20 metre heated swimming pool, 2 floodlit all-weather tennis courts, a golf driving range and an archery range.

A boatshed is located on the Yarrabandai billabong, about 200 metres from the main homestead, where you can trying your hand a canoeing the 8 kilometres.

If you like fishing and novices alike enjoy the fight of Yellowbelly, Murray Cod and Silver Perch found in the billabong.

An observation tower, located adjacent to the main Homestead, is equipped with a star-viewing telescope.

Other activities at additional cost include Aboriginal artist workshops, hot air ballooning, bush poet and in-room massage can be arranged.
